My name is Jean-Luc ANDRE. I am a physiotherapist of French origin but currently based in Brussels Belgium. I graduated from HELB Ilya Prigogine in 2008 with honors and hold the common core certification for sports coaching (BEES). I have expanded my knowledge through various training programs (DNS, manual therapy, myofascial release, TRX, kettlebells, therapeutic Qigong, Pilates, stretch therapy, Método Bertazzo, fascial strengthening for performance, etc.), as well as through encounters with extraordinary therapists during my travels abroad. Each approach has provided me with a piece of the puzzle that allowed me to recover from debilitating back pain and other inflammatory joint issues caused by both family history and intensive sports practice.

I have contributed to articles in magazines (30 Millions de Consommateurs, Femmes d’Aujourd’hui, La Libre, etc.) and have authored several books, most of them in french except one (Unbreakable) which has been tranlated into english and is now available on Amazon.com).

  • Unbreakable, how to strengthen the joints according to science (July 2024)
  • Mes 10 clés pour une bonne posture (June 2023)
  • 7 minutes posture (Hachette, 2023)
  • Incassable, comment renforcer ses articulations selon la science (June 2022)
  • 7 minutes par jour anti-mal de dos (Hachette, April 2019)
  • 7 minutes fessiers Hachette Pratique (Hachette Pratique, February 2018)
  • Comment j’ai vaincu mon mal de dos Hachette Pratique (Fev. 2018)
  • Fiabilité du repérage des épines iliaques postéro-supérieures. Clinical study / thesis (June 2008)

After several years of practice in a clinic, I decided to shift my focus to therapeutic coaching to concentrate on a long-term, foundational approach—somewhere between fitness coaching and rehabilitation. This allows me to help people who are sometimes geographically distant through online sessions. In other words, instead of wasting time constantly putting out fires with treatments that often have only temporary effects, I prefer to work upstream to better assist patients, injured athletes, and those who want to maintain an active lifestyle in building an anti-fragile body. My method empowers them to become autonomous and halt joint aging, which—as I am living proof—is not inevitable.

Recently, I developed a global strengthening method based on the fascia. After 15 years of traditional weight training, I observed that:

  1. I was not stronger in complex, unconventional, non-« choreographed, » functional, and three-dimensional movements.
  2. I had to counterbalance the effects of my weight training with cardio, stretching, and mobility work to prevent joint pain and maintain a flexible body. Why not imagine a training method that combines all three at once, instead of spending two hours a day at the gym?
  3. My muscles were developing, but my tendons and ligaments were deteriorating, hindering my progress.
  4. I had lost a lot of elasticity, which increased my risk of injury, and injuries were becoming more frequent.
  5. This type of training was accelerating the aging of my body, and my performance declined with age.

I would like to share my discoveries and the most effective training method with you—one based on global strengthening (tendons, fascia, ligaments, and of course muscles)—because I know it will profoundly change your life, whether you are a high-level athlete, an everyday athlete, or even a senior looking to maintain an athletic body well into advanced age through sustainable training.
